BTC Inc. is taking the lead in affirming Bitcoin’s role as an everyday payment method at the world’s largest Bitcoin event in Las Vegas.
The upcoming Bitcoin 2025 conference, organized by BTC Inc. and BTC Media LLC, will mark a new historical milestone for the cryptocurrency community as it officially submits a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® application for “Most Bitcoin Point-of-Sale Transactions in 8 Hours”.
The event will take place from May 27-29, 2025 at the Venetian Convention Center in Las Vegas, bringing together over 30,000 attendees, over 300 exhibitors, and 500 leading speakers from the global crypto industry.
Bitcoin returns to its original purpose: A means of payment
“Bitcoin 2025 is an opportunity for the global community to demonstrate that Bitcoin is not just a store of value, but a real means of payment in everyday life,” said Didier Lewis, CFO of BTC Inc.
A central part of the record-breaking campaign will be the deployment of 4,000 limited-edition Bolt cards, which will allow attendees to make contactless Bitcoin transactions easily, securely, and quickly. These special card designs honor influential figures in the Bitcoin community such as Satoshi Nakamoto, Michael Saylor, Jack Dorsey, and Senator Cynthia Lummis.
On-site Payment Ecosystem: From Bolt Cards to Bitcoin Stores
To support the record-setting goal, the official Bitcoin Magazine Store will also be set up in the main conference hall, offering a variety of Bitcoin-related merchandise including hardware wallets, books, fashion, and limited-edition art. Notably, buyers paying with Bitcoin via the Lightning Network will receive a 21% discount, a symbolic number tied to Bitcoin’s limited supply.
A Global Stage for Bitcoin
Bitcoin 2025 is not only a record-breaking venue, but also a global stage for thought leaders, developers, investors, and enthusiasts from around the world. Following the successful Nashville event in 2024, this year’s event in Las Vegas is expected to be the largest crypto conference ever.
BTC Inc also announced global satellite events including Bitcoin Asia (Hong Kong, August 2025) and Bitcoin MENA (Abu Dhabi, December 2025), further expanding Bitcoin’s influence in emerging markets.
