Abu Dhabi – NEXPACE, a pioneer in IP expansion through Web3 technology backed by gaming giant Nexon, has officially announced the launch of MapleStory N, the first blockchain-integrated MMORPG in the MapleStory Universe (MSU) ecosystem. Along with that, the NXPC token – the backbone of the MSU economy – has also been successfully listed on 7 leading exchanges including Binance, Bitget, Bybit, KuCoin, Gate.io, Bithumb and Upbit.
For the first time in history, an iconic IP game that has spanned more than two decades like MapleStory is reborn on the blockchain, opening up a new immersive experience for millions of fans worldwide.
A fusion of nostalgia and new technology
MapleStory N retains the classic 2D visuals and signature gameplay that has impressed millions of gamers of the previous generation, but now adds groundbreaking features such as NFTs that own items, an on-chain trading system, and an open marketplace that allows players to exchange valuable assets in the real world.
Players can take on quests, fight monsters, collect rare items, and trade freely in a community-driven economy. Through the Synergy App, MSU also encourages creators to build decentralized content and applications (dApps), inheriting the open development spirit of the traditional MapleStory.
NXPC – the heart of the MapleStory Universe economy
The NXPC token serves as the main engine that drives the entire MSU ecosystem. With the unique Fusion-Fission mechanism, players can swap NXPC into collectible NFTs (Fission) and vice versa (Fusion), creating a self-regulating supply-demand system that helps combat inflation and protect long-term value.
In addition to in-game use, NXPC is also a reward for content creators, app developers, and active community contributors – creating an open, sustainable, and user-driven ecosystem.

In the run-up to the official launch, the NFT Drop campaign on OpenSea from May 6–12 recorded over 1 million mints, demonstrating the strong appeal of MapleStory N among the Web3 gaming community. Built on Avalanche, using AvaCloud and custom Layer 1 infrastructure, MSU has also helped the Avalanche network record the highest number of active wallets since its inception.
MapleStory N is now officially released on PC, marking the beginning of a series of upcoming Web3 projects in the MSU ecosystem.
